The "Facilitating Cultural Change" program lays a strong foundation for organizations to maximize their internal capacity and potential for increased success. By providing the same proven tools and strategies our consulting team uses, organizations develop their ability to fully integrate intercultural competency as a core component of their strategy to achieve their mission.

Nehrwr Abdul-Wahid, Lead Consultant of One Ummah Consulting, Phyllis Braxton, of P.I.N.K. Consulting, LLC., julius erolin, of Erolin Solutions, Beth Zemsky, former Coordinator of Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness at the University of Minnesota, bring more than 75 years of facilitation and consulting experience. They have worked with schools, non-profits, government agencies, universities and fortune 500 companies to leverage the changing demographics of their staff and clients in order to increase organizational effectiveness.

The three-day workshop will provide participants skills and tools to improve their effectiveness as leaders and change agents around equity issues and challenges with cultural diversity. An optional post-workshop half-day session will focus on organizational and systems change - how to "lead up".

Topics covered will include:

  • Facilitator as Tool - Self-awareness, bias recognition, role of co-facilitation
  • Framing and Frameworks - Theoretical models upon which the work is built.
  • Facilitation and Coaching Skills - Introduction to experiential and training tools to generate dialogue and action.
  • Evaluation - Develop a strategic plan for applying what has been learned.
